The European Roma Information Office (ERIO) is looking for interns.
ERIO
ERIO is an advocacy organisation which aims at defending and promoting the rights of Roma communities and contributing to eradicate the discrimination and social exclusion faced by Roma. ERIO lobbies with European institutions and national governments for the improvement of policies aiming at the social inclusion of Roma in the EU member states, candidate and potential candidate countries. ERIO coordinates a network of Roma organisations supporting them to improve their advocacy activities and to establish their demands before European and national decision makers.
Reporting
The Intern reports to both the Executive Director and the Policy Officer. S/he reports to the Executive Director through the Policy Officer, unless they are not asked to do it directly to the Executive Director
Responsibilities
● Carrying out research on EU and national politics with regard to Roma issues and in the fields of anti-discrimination and social inclusion:
● Supporting the information programme
● Proof reading and editing texts
● Supporting the maintenance of the organisations database of ERIO
● Supporting the up-dating of ERIO’s website
Profile
● University degree
● Strong organisational and communication skills
● English native speaker or mother tongue level
● Computer skills

Unfortunately, ERIO can not pay interns.
